Teresa Provencio - Morning Show 6 AM - 10 AM

After years of fluctuating heart rates brought on by fake snakes and other beasties,  Teresa Provencio now hates directional light... especially when she's facing it, then turns around too fast. That whole thing with shadows, y'know.

Teresa Provencio

KLAQ News Director Teresa Provencio is a demure woman, shy but secure in her beliefs and in herself – an unshakeable rock of confidence.

Unfortunately, this rock sits on a fault line and is regularly shaken by a magnitude 9 earthquake every weekday morning from 6 to 10 called the KLAQ Morning Show.

Run-ins with tarantulas, snakes, Buzz Adams and her own shadow have left her frazzled and unable to bite her tongue, resulting in her sometimes being mistaken for a Tourette’s syndrome patient off her medication.

Known for her endearing laugh, which can often be heard between her endearing scream, Teresa has many hobbies around her house to keep her mind off her job.

Oh, excuse us…for “hobbies”, please substitute “televisions”.

But don’t make fun of her, because if you’re from El Paso chances are she’s related to you.
