Scott Ronson Biography
I was hatched in the ’60’s, in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. I spent 20 years in the land of 10,000 lakes doing as little as possible in the most amount of time.
In 1981 I lost my mind and decided to join the military. Wanted to be "All That I Could Be", wanted to see the world, to protect and defend. HAHAHAHAHA...yeah, right!
While in the military, I have lived in Colorado Springs, Monterey, and served two tours in Germany. (If you love beer, sell everything you own and move to Germany, it’s like heaven.)
I was in Honduras in 1987, making sure the drug flow to the US was not interrupted by the Sandanistas. Then in 1989, I invaded Panama to make sure Noriega didn’t hurt the flow to
the good ol’ US of A. (God, you gotta love the Presidents.)
January 1984, the military was nice enough to send me to the Sun City!!!!!!! (When the hell does it ever cool off around here??? You all tell me, "I will get used to it."
I’mmmmmmm waiting...)
I was hooked on the Q as soon as I arrived. It always played the classic rock that I grew up on, but played the new rock coming out that I love.
May 31st will always be the day that changed my life completely. While walking around Wet N’ Wild after the end of Balloonfest ’96, looking for pieces of food left on the ground, I ran into Magic Mike.
(He thought I was helping them clean up...) He offered me a part time, overnight, weekend job.
