Horror movies are supposed to cause goose bumps on your skin, make you cringe at the sight of blood, or make you jump and scream when you feel the evil force approaching. iRest Stop: Dont Look Backi makes you want to go to the bathroom, fill a paper bag with your own excrement and leave it on the filmmakers doorstep lit on fire, especially considering that is pretty much what they do. They put a flaming bag of poop on your doorstep and by watching this film, youre the idiot that steps on the flaming bag of poop without shoes on.

The bulk of the movie is shot outside of the Dakota hotel, as Chapman waits for Lennon. Many of the scenes are just shots of standing around. At the end of the movie, director J.P. Shaefer captures the scene in which Chapman shoots Lennon extremely well. Its very subtle. However, the story and scenes leading up to that moment are mostly stagnant.

The theme of the abbreviated thanks to the writers strike season seems to be Guest Stars and More of Them. Almost every episode found another big name showing up in the building. Jerry Seinfeld, Falco, David Schwimmer, Will Arnett, Carrie Fisher, Buck Henry, Tim Conway, Elaine Stritch, Steve Buscemi, and Matthew Broderick all appear.

I also have no real problems with David Schwimmers direction in his directorial debut. I do, however, have a problem with the title of the movie. Why? Well, Pegg isnt exactly fat. Hes barely even overweight. If anything, the Brit has a slight beer belly, most likely due to his various pub visits in iShaun of the Deadi and iHot Fuzzi.

IIron ManI is a film that comic book junkies will no doubt love, but it also appeals to those who generally shy away from the superhero genre because it retains a relevance to the world we live in today. War, weapons and terrorism are all hot-button issues surging through the daily news, and IIron ManI definitely has a contribution to make to that discussion.

iLeatherheadsi tries a bit too hard, and runs too long, but I was really entertained. Im a critic who believes you have to put a movie in its possible world, and judge it from there. Whats it trying to do? Is that a legitimate, worthy effort? How good is it possible for it to be? iLeatherheadsi is in a sense its own main character. Its getting older, but it loves the game. It revels in the idea that it basically plays a game as a job, but times are changing, becoming more serious, and it has to figure out where it fits in the new world.

This film would make a perfect commercial thriller for James Spader and Rob Lowe were it still 1994. Unfortunately for their contemporary replacements, Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor, IDeceptionI arrives much too late to be shocking. Clearly, they were deceived. But not as much as audiences who have to wade through 108 minutes of this film in order to see all of the twists unfold in a perfunctory manner. One can imagine screenwriter Mark Bomback sitting with a noir checklist, checking off each element as he reached a marketable 100 pages or so.

iKablueyi is the kind of movie that can truly make one appreciate the world of indie films. There is no big-budget version of this movie, and I think theres really no way to say precisely what this movie is saying once you have to try to attract a large enough audience to cover such a budget. Giant, blue guy standing by the side of the road just isnt pulling people into theaters.

After you get beyond that initial first episode, which is mainly played out in exposition form to get you caught up with what happened last time on iGreys Anatomyi, the rest of the season flies past you at a break-neck speed, turning this Hugh Laurie fan into a die-hard lover of the inhabitants of Seattle Grace.

The idea of spry senior citizens who eschew sitting around the nursing home or watching IMatlockI or its 2008 equivalent to ride Harleys, have sex, or skydive has been a staple of movies and television for years. So when I first saw the members of the Young Heart chorus, who range in age from 74 to 92, I had a bit of a been there, done that feeling.

Michael Moore is the highest grossing documentary filmmaker of all time. So why isnt his latest movie showing up in movie theaters? Because its not really a movie. Moore has claimed that hes making ISlacker UprisingI available for free online as a gift to his supportive fans, but the truth is that its not even really a film. There is no market for the footage contained in his movie.

Guru Pitka is a Guru, mainly as a result of the happy accident of following another Guru from a young age. It isnt so much that he truly understands the tenets of those classified as Gurus, but he knows what they are. As perhaps a meaningful poke at the overwhelming number of self-help wizards around today, Guru Pitka spits out fortune-cookie truisms...

Created by IThe O.C.I mastermind Josh Schwartz, IChuckI contains a lot of that shows pop culture-savvy wit, as well as its willingness to ogle the bikini bodies in the L.A. locations. But it also has the same sweetness, and the same willingness to take typical types-- the superhot secret agent, the grumpy supervisor, the goofy best friend-- and make them lovable, real people. The formula can wear thin after a time, but the characters are what make IChuckI infinitely watchable

With ISpeed RacerI, writerdirectorproducers Andy and Larry Wachowski have taken a fairly popular animated television series from my childhood and turned it into a long, sometimes thrilling, more often boring, occasional eye popping mess. The Wachowski Brothers try to create a live action cartoon but forget that even live action cartoons need interesting stories and dialogue.

iReprisei is the kind of movie that smart people will call you a philistine if you dont like it, and simpletons will call you fruity, if you do mostly because youre watching something with subtitles in it. But it presents the strange scenario where being on both side of the fence isnt really an option. Youre really never sure whether to cringe, laugh, or squint at whats going on in front of you.
